Replacement of defective float drums shall be at the sole discretion of Den Hartog Industries. Den Hartog Industries’ obligation to the original owner is limited to the replacement or the repairing of the defective float drums. This warranty applies only to the use of this product for the sole purpose of floatation docks. Failure to follow the “Procedures for Using ACE Float Drums” also voids this warranty. Warrantor has no liability whatsoever and this warranty is null and void if any Den Hartog Industries product has been subjected to storm abuse, or improper installation and support. Any float drum product needing replacement, as determined by Den Hartog Industries, is covered by its limited warranty, as described above, for the following time period from the purchase date by original owner: 100% non-prorated for 10 years 50% in the 11th year 40% in the 12th year 30% in the 13th year 20% in the 14th year and 10% in the 15th year of the warranty.Ĭoverage under this warranty will be effective only when a copy of the original invoice, showing date and location of purchase, accompanies any claim for warranty. Notice received more than sixty (60) days after warranty period will not be valid and the warranty will not apply. Until such notice is received, warrantor will not be responsible for any repair or replacement. If your Den Hartog Industries Float Drum product develops a defect during the warranty period, promptly notify our customer service department.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY COMPONENT PARTS OR ACCESSORIES USED WITH THE FLOAT DRUM THAT ARE NOT MANUFACTURED BY DEN HARTOG INDUSTRIES, INC.ĭen Hartog Industries, Inc. All float drums under this warranty are to be sent F.O.B.
Any Den Hartog Industries Float Drum product thought to be defective must be returned to the manufacturer (prepaid) and judged defective by the manufacturer. Your Den Hartog Industries Float Drum product is warranted against cracking, peeling, sloughing and deterioration from ultra-violate rays, while retaining its resiliency against bumps by watercraft under normal usage for fifteen (15) years from the proven date of purchase.
